Another fine day with occasional bright sunshine allowed a clean start to the day with a wash and shave in the river followed by a beautiful walk down Glen Gour with the mountains reflected in the loch and past a rather strange building that had me confused until I reached the broken dam and realized that it must have been a boathouse when the water level was considerably higher.

| I met Colin again on the road to the Corran ferry and he asked if I had seen the Eagle hunting over the glen the previous evening! We caught the 10am ferry which does not appear to charge foot passengers or were we just fare dodgers? and continued round to Inchree where I took to the hills again to traverse Beinn na Gucaig on my way to meeting the West Highland Way to Glen Nevis.

| I did take some photographs of Lochan Lunn Da-Bhra from the ridge but there was no sign of the kelpie rumored to live there. The WHW track makes good walking to Glen Nevis but I found it slightly disorientating being on this winding forest track after the open spaces of the last few days.

The Glen Nevis camp site is excellent and there is a very good restaurant and lounge bar a few hundred yards up the road, however as I had carried my evening meal all the way from the west coast I ate that before testing the Guinness in the bar (excellent).
